About us

Susan Akers opened Triangle Gallery at 8 Elm in May of 2023.  Previously, she had been in her studio & tiny triangular gallery in the Thorndike Building showing the work of friends and other emerging artists. Upon moving to 8 Elm Street, a network of artists filled the space and this wonderful network of artists and friends continues to expand.  The gallery's goal is to exhibit artists at all career levels drawing from near and far, with a celebratory eye toward showing the work of unrepresented local artists.  

After graduating with a degree in Textile Design, Susan's daughter, Rosey, signed on to help with vision and technology.  

The gallery shows work of all media and has a community focus by forming connections
