Artist Statement

I’m not looking to set the world on fire with my art. Instead, I’m interested in creating small spaces in our hectic, stressful world for viewers to experience the joy of color, shape, form, and texture I feel when making the work. I want my work to be a vehicle for viewers to stop for a moment, explore their own feelings and internal world, and find a way to connect to their humanity. As the saying goes, “It’s the little things in life”.
